About Me
Dr. Mina Farahani is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialized training in cornea, cataract, and refractive care. She manages the full spectrum of corneal and ocular surface disease, including Fuchs dystrophy, limbal stem cell deficiency, neurotrophic keratitis, and advanced dry eye. She offers modern cataract surgery with advanced lens options and performs corneal transplantation and laser vision correction when appropriate. Patients appreciate her warm, practical approach and clear discussion of options tailored to their goals and lifestyle.
A Connecticut native, Dr. Farahani returned to New England after completing residency in a high-volume county hospital and fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery. She has served on academic staff in Boston and lectures locally and nationally on anterior segment topics. Her interests include meibomian gland dysfunction, ocular surface reconstruction, and innovations that improve comfort and vision for people with chronic corneal disease.
