Meet Dr. Michael Singer
About Me
Dr. Michael A. Singer is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal conditions. He was drawn to eye care by the opportunity to profoundly affect patients' lives and continually seeks new therapies to help those with retinal diseases. Dr. Singer provides comprehensive retinal care, including diagnosis and management of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment.
Dr. Singer completed his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at St. Vincent's Hospital & Medical Center of New York and a retina fellowship at Eye Consultants of Atlanta at Piedmont Hospital. He serves as a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
