Dr. Darren Bell

Dr. Darren J. Bell is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of retinal conditions. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve better vision while providing them with a clear understanding of their condition, reassurance, and hope. As a retina specialist, Dr. Bell diagnoses and treats a wide range of vitreoretinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and vitreous disorders. He offers advanced treatments such as intraocular injections and retinal surgery to preserve and restore vision.

Dr. Bell completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at the Charles Retina Institute in Memphis, Tennessee, and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee. He earned his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine and holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University. Dr. Bell is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star and Texas Super Doctor.
