About Me
Dr. Matthew Dombrow is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retinal diseases at Connecticut Retina Consultants. He provides comprehensive care for conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and uveitis, utilizing advanced surgical techniques including vitrectomy and scleral buckling.
Dr. Dombrow completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he served as chief resident, and further specialized through a vitreoretinal fellowship at Yale University. His clinical focus includes complex retinal detachment repair, and he is dedicated to offering personalized, expert care to his patients.
He maintains hospital privileges at Yale New Haven Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital, and is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
