Dr. Richard Kaplan is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon at Connecticut Retina Consultants. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases, providing care for conditions such as retinal detachment, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Kaplan completed his ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he served as chief resident.
