About Me
Dr. Louis S. Angioletti is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery and macular disease. He provides expert care for conditions such as retinal detachments, macular holes, macular pucker, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Angioletti is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, followed by a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Baylor University. He currently serves as a Senior Attending Surgeon at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and holds the academic title of Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. With extensive experience in surgical retina, Dr. Angioletti is dedicated to diagnosing and treating complex retinal conditions to help preserve and improve vision for his patients in Manhattan.
