About Me
Dr. Levent Akduman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Quantum Vision Centers, serving patients in the St. Louis Metro East area. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and macular holes. He also has expertise in uveitis and inflammatory eye diseases.
With a background that includes two fellowships in uveitis and vitreoretinal surgery, Dr. Akduman brings specialized knowledge to his practice. He previously taught at the Department of Ophthalmology at Saint Louis University for 16 years and has been actively involved in clinical research on retinal diseases. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Ophthalmology at Saint Louis University.
Dr. Akduman is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
