About Me
Jeremy M. Cotliar, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing at Eye Care & Surgery with locations in New York City, The Bronx, and New Rochelle. He specializes in glaucoma surgery, cataract surgery (both manual and laser-assisted), refractive surgery such as LASIK and PRK, and premium intraocular lens technology. Dr. Cotliar also performs Botox and filler injections in his office and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Cotliar completed his undergraduate education in Biology at Washington University in St. Louis and earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He then undertook an ophthalmology residency at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by advanced training in glaucoma surgery at the University of California at Irvine and a mini-LASIK fellowship. He is experienced in minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries and customizes treatment plans for each surgical patient.
As a member of the voluntary ophthalmology faculty at New York-Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University, he trains residents and fellows. Dr. Cotliar maintains his expertise through continuing education and is affiliated with professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has surgical privileges at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and is currently accepting new patients.
