Angela Gauthier, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Director of the Cornea Service at Glaucoma-Cataract Consultants. A Maryland native, she graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with an AB in Neuroscience, earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine, and completed ophthalmology residency and a Cornea and External Disease fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. She joined the practice in 2023. Dr. Gauthier diagnoses and treats a wide range of corneal and lens conditions, from refractive errors and cataracts to Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus. Dr. Bo Wang

Bo Wang, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor of ophthalmology with the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine. He specializes in pediatric ophthalmology with particular interest in pediatric glaucoma and cataract, strabismus, and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Wang earned his MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Duke Eye Center. Dr. Wang blends compassionate, child-friendly care with evidence-based decision-making and advanced imaging. His research leverages optical coherence tomography to study outflow pathway changes that contribute to pediatric glaucoma, with the goal of improving diagnosis and therapy.
