Dr. Aakriti Shukla

Dr. Aakriti Garg Shukla is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at CUMC and Attending Ophthalmologist at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. She specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and cataracts. Her surgical expertise includes minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, traditional glaucoma surgery, glaucoma laser surgery, and cataract surgery.

Dr. Shukla has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and has been invited to speak nationally and internationally on her patient care and research. She serves on the editorial boards of Ophthalmology and Ophthalmology Glaucoma and is continually inspired by her patients, aiming to improve their quality of life while treating their glaucoma.
