Dr. Jeffrey Wong

Dr. Jeffrey J. Wong is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist and experienced ocular surgeon who provides comprehensive eye care to patients in Honolulu. Born and raised in the community, he brings a deep understanding of local needs to his practice. His medical journey includes honors from Punahou School, a biology degree from Brown University, and medical school at the University of Hawaii, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Wong completed his ophthalmology residency at New York University-Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and further specialized with a fellowship in Corneal Disease and Refractive Surgery at the New England Eye Center.

As a cornea and refractive surgeon, Dr. Wong focuses on advanced cataract surgery and corneal transplantation procedures, including DSEK. He has extensive expertise in managing corneal disorders such as dry eyes, keratoconus, Fuchs dystrophy, corneal ulcers, and ocular infections. Additionally, he treats a wide range of other eye conditions including glaucoma, uveitis, diabetic eye disease, and provides routine eye examinations for glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Wong is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
