About Me
Dr. Jeanine Baqai is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external disease at Northwestern Medicine. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, with particular expertise in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and the management of complex corneal conditions. Dr. Baqai is also an associate professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine, where she is involved in training future ophthalmologists.
Dr. Baqai's clinical focus includes the treatment of cataracts, keratoconus, dry eye syndrome, pterygium, corneal dystrophies, corneal scars, and corneal edema. She performs advanced surgical procedures such as refractive cataract surgery and lamellar corneal transplantation (DSAEK/DMEK).
