Dr. Richard Adler

Dr. Richard Adler is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care and vision-restoring surgery for patients in the Baltimore area. He is known for a thoughtful, personalized approach and for combining experience with modern technology to help patients see more clearly and comfortably.

Dr. Adler’s clinical interests include cataract surgery with premium lens options, refractive lens exchange (RLE), and LASIK, as well as care for corneal diseases and dry eye disease. He also evaluates urgent eye problems such as sudden vision changes, infections, and eye injuries. Dr. Adler completed his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and trained in ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins, after undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
