Meet Dr. Zeba A. Syed

Dr. Zeba A. Syed is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions including ocular surface disease, corneal infections, keratoconus, Fuchs dystrophy, and other corneal dystrophies. She performs advanced procedures such as corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and collagen crosslinking.

Dr. Syed serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and is the Director of the Cornea Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. She completed her medical education at Harvard Medical School, followed by residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Syed's practice focuses on providing personalized and cutting-edge care for patients with corneal and anterior segment disorders. She utilizes techniques like excimer laser PTK for therapeutic purposes and manages complications from cataract surgery.
