Dr. Hong-Uyen Hua is a vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for both adult and pediatric patients with medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. Dr. Hua’s interests include age-related macular degeneration, inherited retinal dystrophies, and diabetic eye disease, and she integrates advanced imaging and, when appropriate, genetic testing into personalized care. After earning her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Hua completed an ophthalmology residency at the USC Roski Eye Institute and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute.
