About Me
Dr. Henry Lin is a retina specialist with Houston Retina Associates in Houston, Texas, where he provides comprehensive retinal care. He brings a unique research background in neuroscience and epidemiology to his clinical practice, focusing on medical retinal diseases and uveitis.
Dr. Lin earned his MD, PhD in neuroscience, and MS in epidemiology through the Medical Scientist Training Program at SUNY Buffalo, where he also received the Thomas J. Guttuso Award for academic excellence in ophthalmology. He completed his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Buffalo and pursued subspecialty fellowship training in uveitis and medical retinal disease at the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, covering topics from dietary carotenoids and macular degeneration to autoimmune retinopathy.
In his personal time, Dr. Lin enjoys spending time with his family, reading broadly, and traveling. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is dedicated to providing patient-centered retinal care.
