Dr. Haci Uğur Celik is a fellowship-trained cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon at UR Medicine's Flaum Eye Institute. He provides comprehensive anterior segment care--from routine and complex cataract surgery to corneal transplantation and advanced laser vision correction--and builds thoughtful, step-by-step plans to help patients see comfortably and confidently. Dr. Celik earned his medical degree at Marmara University in Turkey, completed ophthalmology residency at Beyoğlu Eye Research and Training Hospital, and pursued fellowships in cornea/external disease and refractive surgery at Istanbul Medeniyet University, followed by pediatric ophthalmology and medical retina fellowships at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
