About Me
Dr. Gearinger is a pediatric ophthalmologist dedicated to improving the vision of children. At the Flaum Eye Institute, he treats a wide range of pediatric eye conditions including pink eye, blocked tear ducts, blurred vision, strabismus, pediatric glaucoma, and congenital cataracts. He has performed surgery on infants as young as one week old and also provides care for adults with misaligned eyes.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gearinger is actively involved in research to develop innovative treatments for challenging pediatric cases such as amblyopia, pediatric optic nerve disorders, and retinopathy of prematurity. He participates in clinical trials and nationwide studies to bring promising new therapies to children. Dr. Gearinger is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
