About Me
Dr. David M. Kleinman, MD, MBA, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery. He provides medical and surgical care for a range of retinal and vitreous conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vascular occlusions. Dr. Kleinman's practice is centered at the Flaum Eye Institute, where he applies his fellowship training to manage complex vitreoretinal diseases.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kleinman has been actively involved in clinical research, serving as an investigator in pharmaceutical trials for diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He has also contributed to numerous ophthalmology publications and has presented his work internationally. In addition to his clinical work, he has held academic appointments and participated in global eye care initiatives, including the Himalayan Cataract Project and Project ORBIS International.
