About Me
Dr. Par is a fellowship-trained, board-certified vitreoretinal specialist who provides advanced medical and surgical retina care. He has been caring for ophthalmology patients since 2011 and focuses on helping people understand their diagnosis and feel confident in a clear, step-by-step treatment plan.
He earned a B.A. in Biochemistry at New York University and completed medical school at New York University School of Medicine, including research honors with a focus on retinal disease. After completing ophthalmology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Par pursued a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center/Illinois Retina Associates. His work includes both office-based treatments and complex vitreoretinal surgery, and he has a strong interest in retinal imaging and innovative surgical techniques. Dr. Par is committed to delivering personalized care and helping patients protect vision through evidence-based, thoughtful decision-making.
