About Me
Dr. Frank W. Bowden, III is the founder and foundation of Bowden Eye & Associates. He is widely recognized as an expert in ophthalmology and is frequently called upon for his expert opinion. Dr. Bowden served as the official ophthalmologist for the Jacksonville Jaguars from the team's inauguration until 2020, providing eye care to the NFL team.
As a fellowship-trained corneal and refractive cataract surgeon, Dr. Bowden is one of the few cornea and external disease specialists in the area. He founded Bowden Eye & Associates in 2001, focusing on comprehensive eye care, custom cataract surgery, refractive and LASIK surgery, glaucoma surgery and laser therapy, treatment of dry eye and other ocular surface disorders, corneal transplantation, and corneal and external diseases.
