About Me
Dr. Dilsher S. Dhoot is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist who provides comprehensive care for retinal conditions. Raised in California, he completed his undergraduate education with honors at the University of California, Berkeley, followed by his medical degree at Oregon Health Science University. He trained in ophthalmology at the renowned Casey Eye Institute in Portland and pursued advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic's Cole Eye Institute, a global leader in medical innovation.
Dr. Dhoot has been honored with several awards, including the Honor Award from the American Society of Retina Specialists and the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is actively involved in clinical research, serving as an investigator in trials for age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, and diabetic retinopathy. Additionally, he contributes to medical education as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Keck School of Medicine, USC, and serves as a section editor for the Retina Times.
