Dr. Daniel Osborn

Dr. Daniel R. Osborn is an ophthalmologist at Missouri Eye Institute who has practiced in Springfield since 1996. He is recognized as one of the most experienced cataract and refractive surgeons in the region. Dr. Osborn introduced Intralase Bladeless LASIK surgery and a no-needle topical anesthesia technique for cataract surgery to the Ozarks. He also provides modern corneal transplant procedures.

His specialty areas include refractive procedures such as LASIK and PRK, microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), advanced cataract surgery including laser-assisted and premium lens options, and corneal transplant surgery. Dr. Osborn is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves as adjunct faculty for multiple optometry and medical schools. He has been appointed to the State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
