About Me
Dr. Andrew Osborn is an anterior segment ophthalmic surgeon at Missouri Eye Institute, where he joined in August 2022. He focuses on helping patients achieve their best vision with modern cataract and refractive solutions, including laser-assisted cataract surgery and a full range of lens options such as toric and multifocal implants to reduce dependence on glasses. He also treats glaucoma using minimally invasive techniques, performs eyelid procedures, and manages common retinal conditions like diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
Raised in Springfield, Missouri, Dr. Osborn graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed a combined medical and surgical internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was elected chief resident, and then completed his ophthalmology residency at the top-ranked Dean McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma, again serving as chief resident. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
