Dr. Chi Mong Or
About Me
Dr. Chi Mong Christopher Or is a board-certified ophthalmologist and family medicine physician who specializes in uveitis and medical retina. He completed advanced uveitis training through the uveitis and medical retina fellowship at Stanford University and cares for patients at the Byers Eye Institute and Menlo Medical Clinic. Dr. Or focuses on using state-of-the-art imaging, including OCT and OCT angiography, to diagnose and monitor complex inflammatory and retinal diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and uveitis.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Or serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is actively involved in clinical trials in optical imaging and retinal therapeutics and has published widely on ocular inflammation, retinal vascular disease, and imaging biomarkers. Dr. Or also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin, and he is committed to clear communication and collaborative, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
