About Me
Dr. Blake Snyder is a uveitis and medical cornea specialist with a passion for global ophthalmology and patient-centered care. He enjoys partnering with people to clarify complex diagnoses and craft treatment plans that balance effectiveness and quality of life. His clinical experience spans inflammatory eye disease, cataract surgery, eyelid procedures, MIGS for glaucoma, and office-based retina care, and he is equally comfortable caring for children and adults.
A Colorado native, Dr. Snyder graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado, earned his MD at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and completed internship at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He served as Chief Resident during ophthalmology residency at UC Davis, then returned to UCSF’s Francis I. Proctor Foundation for fellowship in uveitis and medical cornea before joining Stanford as a Clinical Instructor and Global Ophthalmology Fellow. His work has been recognized with awards from ARVO, CAEPS/AAO, and UC Davis, and he remains active in research and education.
