About Me
Dr. Capritta Roberts is a board-certified cataract, cornea transplant, and external disease surgeon at Coastal Vision Center. She joined the practice in July 2020 after completing her fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Roberts earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Roberts specializes in complex cataract surgery, including scleral fixated lens placement and refractive cataract surgery. She is also an expert in corneal transplantation, such as Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty, and provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for the cornea and ocular surface. Her clinical focus includes treating dry eye disease, conjunctival chalasis, pterygium excision, keratoconus, and performing limbal stem cell transplantation. Dr. Roberts is known for her compassionate approach, taking time to communicate effectively and educate her patients.
Originally from the Tampa Bay area, Dr. Roberts now calls Amelia Island home. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Roux.
