About Me
Dr. Capritta Roberts is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Coastal Vision Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida. She cares for adults with a wide range of eye conditions and has advanced fellowship training in cornea and external disease from the University of Minnesota after earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Roberts provides both routine and complex eye care, with a particular focus on challenging cataract surgery, including scleral-fixated lens placement and refractive cataract options. She also performs corneal transplantation and manages diseases of the cornea and ocular surface such as dry eye, conjunctivochalasis, pterygium, keratoconus, and limbal stem cell deficiency. Patients appreciate her calm, thorough communication style and the time she takes to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and what to expect before and after surgery. Originally from the Tampa Bay area, she now calls Amelia Island home and is grateful to serve patients across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
