Dr. Brian Jacobs

Dr. Brian J Jacobs is an ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and glaucoma specialist at North Shore Glaucoma Center & Eye Physicians. He cares for patients at the practice's offices in Libertyville and Skokie, Illinois.

Dr. Jacobs focuses on the medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma, cataracts, corneal disease, and other eye disorders. He believes in building long-term relationships with patients, which enables him to detect eye problems early and slow or stop the progression of eye disease.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Jacobs serves as an assistant professor at Rush University Medical Center and a clinical instructor at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He is a board-certified diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been recognized with the Patient Care Improvement Project Award from the American Glaucoma Society.
