Dr. Kara Schultz

Dr. Kara Schultz is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist with over a decade of experience in the Chicagoland area. She provides a full range of eye care services, with particular expertise in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and cataract surgery. Patients visiting Dr. Schultz can expect comprehensive eye evaluations and personalized treatment plans for a variety of ocular conditions.

Dr. Schultz completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Iowa, where she graduated with highest distinction and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University and pursued advanced fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Schultz is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants with her husband.
