Dr. Anh Bui

Dr. Anh Bui, MD, PhD is a cornea, cataract, and external disease specialist committed to precise surgery and attentive, personalized care. She performs small-incision cataract surgery with advanced IOL options, treats ocular surface disease and pterygium, and offers partial and full-thickness corneal transplantation when appropriate. During residency she also performed minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, supporting combined approaches for select patients.

Dr. Bui graduated with distinction from Stanford University, earned both her MD and PhD from the University of California, Irvine, completed ophthalmology residency at UCSF, and returned to Stanford for fellowship training in Cornea and External Ocular Disease. She has published research in cataract and corneal disease and stays current with evolving technologies to help patients reach their visual goals. Her consultations emphasize education, shared decision-making, and careful follow-up so patients feel informed and supported from first visit through recovery.
