Dr. Andrew Brookner

Dr. Andrew Brookner is a retina specialist at Clemson Eye, providing care at the Halton Road and Seneca locations. He focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of medical retina conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal holes and tears, and retinal inflammatory diseases. With his expertise in medical retina, Dr. Brookner helps patients manage complex eye conditions that affect the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye.

Dr. Brookner brings decades of experience to his practice, having spent nearly forty years in New York City before relocating to Upstate South Carolina. He completed his ophthalmology residency at NYU Medical Center and earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Downstate. Dr. Brookner is committed to providing advanced retina care using the latest developments in the field.
