Dr. Peter Goodwin

Dr. Peter Goodwin is a retina specialist based in Greenville, South Carolina, where he has been providing eye care to the Upstate community since 2011. A native of the state and a second-generation ophthalmologist, he completed two advanced fellowships focused on retinal and vitreoretinal surgery, equipping him to handle complex retinal conditions.

His areas of specialization include the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments, as well as performing sutureless vitrectomy surgeries and managing complicated intraocular lens cases. Dr. Goodwin is dedicated to offering his medical expertise with a compassionate approach, often participating in overseas medical missions through organizations like Samaritan’s Purse.
