Dr. William Johnson is a vitreoretinal surgeon with Retina Consultants of Carolina who treats the full spectrum of medical and surgical retina conditions. A Greenville native, Dr. Johnson earned his MD at the Medical University of South Carolina, completed internship and ophthalmology residency at MUSC/Storm Eye Institute, and pursued subspecialty training at Children’s Mercy Hospital (pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus) and the Wolfe Eye Clinic in Iowa (medical and surgical vitreoretinal diseases).
