Dr. Andreas Gonzalez is a vitreoretinal surgeon specializing in the medical and surgical management of diseases of the retina and vitreous. He provides exceptional and compassionate care to patients in Texas, particularly the Houston area.
Dr. Gonzalez earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida, serving as chief resident and receiving an award for his commitment to resident education. He then completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California's Roski Eye Institute. Prior to joining Mann Eye Institute, Dr. Gonzalez served the Tucson community and trained future ophthalmologists at the University of Arizona, focusing on retina care.
