Dr. Hasan Mohidat is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the surgical and medical treatment of retinal and vitreous diseases, cataract surgery, and general ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology and holds certifications from the Jordanian Board of Ophthalmology, with full medical licensure in Texas. His training includes a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at The University of Texas McGovern Medical School, and he has served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology, gaining extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex eye conditions.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mohidat has held leadership and academic roles as Head of the Ophthalmology Division and Assistant Dean at Jordan University of Science and Technology, where he taught as an assistant professor. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and contributes to research and clinical trials focused on diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
