Dr. Alec Amram

Dr. Alec Amram is a retina specialist at Meadows Eye Physicians & Surgeons, where he cares for adults with medical and surgical conditions of the back of the eye. He completed a surgical retina fellowship at the University of Iowa, one of the nation’s leading ophthalmology training programs, after earning his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. He then finished an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, serving as chief resident. Patients appreciate his steady communication, meticulous surgical technique, and commitment to involving them in decisions about their care. Dr. Amram remains active in professional societies and outreach, reflecting a passion for teaching, mentorship, and community service.
