Dr. Zane Anwar

Dr. Zane Anwar is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and practices comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmology. He has practiced ophthalmology for approximately 10 years and has performed over 2,000 ophthalmic surgeries including cataract, pterygium surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Patients appreciate his use of the latest treatments and technologies to treat a wide scope of eye conditions.

Dr. Anwar obtained his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and medical doctorate degree both at the University of Miami. He completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and completed a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian.

He is fluent in medical Spanish, which helps him serve diverse patient populations. Dr. Anwar provides practical guidance on recovery and long-term eye health, treating conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
