Dr. Timothy Gard

Dr. Timothy L. Gard is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina, with over 30 years of practice at the Hillsboro Eye Clinic. He evaluates and manages a range of retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and other disorders of the vitreous and retina.

Dr. Gard has served as President of the Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology and previously held an Associate Clinical Professor appointment at Oregon Health Sciences University, where he contributed to teaching ophthalmology residents. He has also worked at the Portland Veterans Hospital, supporting resident education.
