About Me
Dr. Thomas W. Stone is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases at Retina Associates of Kentucky. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Duke University Eye Center, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Emory University Eye Center.
Dr. Stone's clinical expertise includes macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, uveitis, and complex retinal pathology. In his surgical practice, he treats retinal detachment, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and symptomatic floaters. Dr. Stone is also dedicated to advancing retinal care through his role as a clinical investigator in clinical trials and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles.
