Dr. Norman Radtke

Dr. Norman D. Radtke is an ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of conditions affecting the retina and vitreous. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Radtke serves as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Louisville and is internationally recognized for his research and teaching on vitreous surgery.

Dr. Radtke has a particular expertise in diabetic eye disease and is actively involved in clinical research. He has launched a research program investigating the transplantation of neural retinal and retinal pigment epithelial cells for patients with dry macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, and retinal dystrophies.
