Dr. Sydney Tyson

Dr. Sydney L. Tyson is an ophthalmologist and cataract and LASIK surgeon who serves patients throughout southern New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area. He specializes in advanced cataract surgery, including dropless IV-free procedures and lens implants that correct astigmatism and presbyopia. He also offers bladeless all-laser LASIK to treat nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, as well as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to help preserve vision.

Dr. Tyson is committed to innovation in eye care and participates in clinical trials and educational programs. He believes in restoring vision and improving quality of life for his patients. As an attending eye surgeon at Wills Eye Hospital, he mentors young surgeons in cataract surgery techniques and patient care.
