Dr. Robert J. Purgert is an ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who provides comprehensive, patient-focused eye care for adults in the Cleveland area. A native Clevelander, he completed medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, returned home for residency training at the Cleveland Clinic, and pursued advanced subspecialty training in glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital. He also evaluates and treats cataracts and common eye conditions that often accompany aging and systemic disease.
