About Me
Dr. Silas L. Wang is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been a full-time member of the Mass Eye and Ear Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Consultation Service since 2016. He provides general eye care for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease, with a specialization in cataract surgery. Patients can expect comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Wang's background includes a biomedical engineering degree from Harvard College and a medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at New York University and is an Instructor in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. Recognized as Surgical Teacher of the Year in 2019, he is dedicated to medical education and mentors future ophthalmologists. Dr. Wang also volunteers with the Indian Health Service and is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, ensuring high standards of care.
