Dr. Shaun Swindler

Dr. Shaun F. Swindler is a board-certified ophthalmologist with an extensive and distinguished background in medical and surgical eye care. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, including cataract surgery, refractive procedures like LASIK and PRK, glaucoma management, oculoplastic surgeries such as blepharoplasty and Botox, medical retina treatments, and comprehensive eye care. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University and has provided exceptional ophthalmic care since 2013.

Dr. Swindler's research contributions include studies on diplopia after orbital fractures and temperature changes related to local cool compress therapy, with findings presented at ARVO. He has also held leadership and teaching roles, organizing educational activities and performing lectures. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
