About Me
Dr. Paul Minotty, the founder of New Vision Eye Center, retired on February 24, 2022. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, he earned his medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1976. His postgraduate training included an internship at University of Miami Affiliated Hospitals and a residency in ophthalmology at The Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland, where he was Chief Resident until 1980.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. In 2009, Dr. Minotty established New Vision Eye Center in Vero Beach, Florida, to create a practice dedicated to personal and customized patient care. He and his wife Denise reside in Vero Beach, where they raised their two daughters.
Upon his retirement, Dr. Minotty transferred the care of his patients to his partners at New Vision Eye Center. His clinical expertise encompassed general ophthalmology, glaucoma management, and YAG laser capsulotomy procedures.
