Dr. Setu Patel

Dr. Setu Patel is a retina specialist who moved to the United States from India as a young teen. He completed a combined six-year BA/MD program in Kansas City, where he also dedicated six years to the Kansas City Free Eye Clinic, helping provide free eye exams for the homeless. His commitment to service earned him induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Patel completed his internship in Indianapolis and then an ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama, where he discovered his passion for vitreoretinal surgery. He pursued a fellowship in Medical and Surgical Retina with Associated Retina Consultants in Arizona and, after completing his training, was invited to join the practice in 2020. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive retina care and is involved in serving underserved communities.
