Dr. Kimberly Tran

Dr. Kimberly Tran, MD is a vitreoretinal surgeon who treats the full spectrum of medical and surgical retina conditions. She joined Associated Retina Consultants in 2024 and brings extensive experience caring for patients with retinal detachments, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and complex vitreoretinal disease. Her philosophy centers on education and shared decision-making so each person understands their diagnosis and options.

Dr. Tran completed both her ophthalmology residency and surgical retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She has practiced in academic and private settings, taught trainees as clinical faculty, and authored research in nationally and internationally recognized ophthalmology journals. Dr. Tran is board-certified in ophthalmology and is an active member of major retina and ophthalmology societies.
