About Me
Dr. Scott Oliver is an ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of retinal diseases and tumors of the eye. He treats a wide range of conditions including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular hole, and choroidal melanoma. His approach to care focuses on solving problems, preventing disease, and bringing humanity to healthcare, ensuring each patient receives compassionate and thorough attention.
Dr. Oliver completed his medical training at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Colorado and a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease at UCLA Medical Center. He is a CU Medicine provider practicing at UCHealth Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center in Aurora, Colorado.
Outside of practice, Dr. Oliver enjoys time with his family, travel, gardening, and nordic and alpine skiing. He is committed to easing suffering for every patient regardless of outcome, and takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment plans clearly.
