Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed ophthalmology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (where she served as Chief Resident), and pursued fellowship training in Cornea & External Disease at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.
