Dr. Sarah Yu

Dr. Sarah Yu is a cornea specialist who provides comprehensive care for corneal and external eye disease, cataracts, and routine eye health. She takes time to explain findings in plain language and partners with each patient to match treatment—whether medical therapy, office procedures, or surgery—to visual goals and daily needs. Her clinical interests include advanced corneal transplantation techniques and restoring a healthy ocular surface for clear, comfortable vision.

Dr. Yu completed fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital after ophthalmology residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She earned her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In the clinic and operating room, she cares for conditions such as keratoconus, pterygium, corneal infections and dystrophies, and offers cataract surgery with modern lens options when appropriate.
