Dr. Samuel Boles
About Me
Dr. Samuel F. Boles is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder of Anne Arundel Eye Center. He provides comprehensive ophthalmic care with a focus on diagnosing and treating glaucoma and cataracts, guiding patients from initial consultation and testing through pre-operative planning and post-operative recovery. He is also committed to patient education, helping people understand their diagnosis and how treatment can protect vision over time.
Dr. Boles earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia and completed advanced post-doctoral training that included ophthalmology residency at George Washington University and glaucoma fellowship training at the University of California, San Diego. His background also includes cornea research training at the Schepens Eye Research Institute, a Harvard University research lab. He helped originate the Glaucoma Co-Management Roundtable and participates in community outreach, including periodic free screenings.
